Extrusion

For businesses not involved within the polythene packaging industry, extrusion is the first stage of the manufacturing process when producing plastic polythene bags, sacks and film on the reel. In plastic extrusion, beads of polymer are melted down, blended for uniform consistency, blown through a die, and then cooled to create film on the reel.

All of our extruders are the very latest state-of-the-art design and technology with gravimetric blending, width and gauge control giving us the exact high performance characteristics required by our customers today in a competitive market. We use the blown film process to ensure our film stands up to customer’s tough requirements and can produce films ranging from 25 to 250 micron and 75mm-2010mm wide.
